Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS Neurodevelopmental and Learning Disability Team and Ealing CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team are looking for a Speciality Doctor (1.0 WTE) each to join our respective friendly, supportive, and experienced multi-disciplinary specialist mental health teams.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and innovative Specialty Doctor who can help taking a leading clinical role with our teams. The role offers the opportunity to combine clinical work and service development within our specialist teams. We are looking for a candidate who is able to maintain clinical curiosity and engage in reflective practice, as well as be able to be an advocate for children, young people and families' needs. We hope the successful candidate would support and implement our trust values and commitments to staff wellbeing and manageable job plans.
Main duties of the job
Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS and Ealing CAMHS have a strong multi-disciplinary approach and thrive on innovative practice to meet the local population needs of a culturally and economically diverse borough. You will be committed to ensuring that the services are accessible and effective. We are looking for a candidate with the drive, enthusiasm and vision to fulfil responsibilities of the role.
You will be joining welcoming multidisciplinary teams who are committed to service improvement, staff well-being, and who value diversity in our workforce. You will offer a high-quality mental health service to young people, families and carers, alongside working effectively with your colleagues and liaising with other professionals in the network supporting the young person. The post provides excellent opportunities for professional and service development.

- oPrimary Medical Degree
- oFull registration with the GMC with a licence to practice at the time of appointment
- oGood standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice
Desirable
- oEligibility for Approved Clinician status with Section 12 approval
- oMRCPsych
- oEligible for inclusion in the Specialist Registrar or within 6 months of gaining CCT
- oHigher degree such as a Masters or PhD

- oGood knowledge of Psychiatry
- oKnowledge and experience in psychopharmacology as applicable to CAMHS

- oAt least 4 years full time post graduate training (or equivalent gained on part time flexible basis)
