As a Duty Nurse Manager (DNM), you will play a critical role in coordinating effective patient flow across hospital sites and managing site incidents. You will report to the Silver on Call and Flow Room Lead, ensuring seamless operations and optimal bed allocation. This position is pivotal in maintaining high standards of patient care, cleanliness, and infection prevention throughout the Trust.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership & Support: Provide round-the-clock clinical leadership, professional advice, and expertise trust-wide to ensure patient needs are met safely and efficiently.
- Patient Flow Coordination: Oversee the effective utilization of beds, staff, and workloads to ensure a logical and efficient flow of patients throughout the Trust.
- Incident Management: Coordinate responses to site incidents in collaboration with the Head of Operations, Emergency Planning Lead, and other relevant personnel.
- Performance Standards Compliance: Work with Divisional teams to meet quality targets and comply with contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Enhanced Clinical Support: Assist in clinical emergencies and carry out enhanced roles to support prompt and safe patient care.
- Team Management: Supervise and line manage Flow Coordinators, Transport Coordinators, and Virtual Ward Healthcare Support Workers.
- Infection Control: Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention and control, particularly in the absence of Heads of Nursing.
