We are looking for a talented individual that can combine excellent technicalskills together with the interpersonal skills to build meaningful working relationships with key decision-makers and lead on developments in financial systems.
Applicants should be CCAB qualified.
This role reports to the Financial Controller.
You will undertake a pro-active role at the Trust's Capital Planning Group which is the key decision-making body for the prioritisation and monitoring of capital expenditure. The Capital Planning Group is chaired by the Chief Finance Officer and includes the Director of Estates and other executive directors.
The postholder will oversee the effective maintenance of the lease register and capital asset register as well as the process for reporting depreciation and amortisation.
In this post you will maintain interface feed processes for reflecting transactions in the general ledger in accordance with the monthly reporting timetable. You will also oversee the management of access rights to the general ledger and maintain and develop a help-desk service for users of the general ledger.
You should have excellent technical and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload to deadlines. You will also be a team player who is self-motivated, innovative and able to actively contribute towards making the most of limited capital resources.

- coordinates the capital planning process
- oversees financial systems maintenance and developments
- monitors the service provided by the external provider of general ledger services
- attendthe Trust's Capital Planning Group, which is the key decision-making body for the prioritisation and monitoring of capital expenditure, and report to the group on actual and forecast capital expenditure and forecasting risks.
