A fabulous opportunity has arisen to come and join our fantastic team in the GRaDE Directorate as a Night Sister / Charge Nurse.We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse interested in working as a Band 6 Night Sister / Charge Nurse across the GRaDE wards at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.This role will be vital in supporting the staff on the wards within GRaDE at night.
Main duties of the job
Act as a resource and support to staff during the night on wards within GRaDE.Ensure the highest standards of care and safety are achieved and maintained at all times.Promote effective communication and teamwork at all levels.Demonstrate clinical leadership skills and evidence of specialist knowledge.Carry the bleep at night for the care group, to manage any staffing and sickness issues.The successful candidate will be required to work to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals PROUD standards and behaviours.

Outpatient services operate on both campus' and are supported by the Patient Booking Hub at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

- RGN Level one
- NMC registered
- To have completed the national PEAP programme for practice supervisors or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification for those with ENB998.
- Continuous professional development
- First degree or evidence of working towards one (demonstrating graduate attributes)
Experience

- Extensive post registration experience in an acute clinical environment
- Extensive post registration experience caring for patients with a long-term condition
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a professional team
