Due to the successful promotion of our current post holder, we are looking to appoint a new Deputy Director of Nursing and AHP to the Division of Surgery. This is a key role in the Division. The role is 37.5 hours per week and involves primarily working Monday - Friday. There is also an on call requirement. It is based at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary but involves travelling to other sites.
The role contributes to and influences culture and this provides an opportunity to demonstrate our values & behaviours through engagement and visible leadership style.
This is an essential rolein providing visible professional nursing and AHP clinical leadership and support various teams to achieve the implementation of the Trusts vision and key priorities.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate with have a proven track record in similar roles and will need to evidence their ability to lead teams and deliver change in an engaging & thoughtful way.
The appointee will be a key person in delivery of high-quality patient care, patient safety, culture of inclusivity, staff health and well-being, quality governance, the delivery of agreed performance and financial objectives and ensuring that the division operates with the needs of the patients as its highest priority.
We need an inspirational forward-thinking and innovative leader with clinical credibility, foresight and ambition. Needs to be determined, but also compassionate, action orientated and have a talent for inspiring, engaging and motivating teams.
