This team lead role will provide leadership and operational management for the forward thinking and dynamic Acute Dietetic Service at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a friendly and supportive dietetic team and MDT, holding a caseload of complex patients, giving you the chance to showcase your expert knowledge and skills and feed your passion for improving dietetic care for inpatients.
This role will suit an established band 7 or an experienced band 6 looking to progress to the next level utilising our extensive Trust wide leadership training.
Main duties of the job
To provide operational management and leadership to your team.
To manage own caseload and to provide a high standard of assessment, management, treatment and advice to meet the needs of patients.
To act as a point of contact for other agencies for issues relating to dietetic service provision.
To work collaboratively with colleagues in health, social care, local authority and other agencies to meet the needs of patients.
To ensure the efficient and effective use of resources available within the team.
To work with other members of the team in the development of the service.
To ensure Clinical Governance is integral to service delivery within the specialty area.
To represent the dietetic and nutrition team and contribute to the development of the wider dietetic and nutrition service throughout the Trust.
