You need to sign in or create an account to save a job.
You will join a dedicated and motivated community Adult ADHD team consisting of professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds such as Consultant Psychiatrists, SAS doctors, community psychiatric nurses, Non-Medical Prescribers, Advance Nurse Practitioners, recovery and support workers, and admin colleagues. You will also be part of the wider network of Consultant Psychiatrists, as peers working in various other Core Specialist services within the Mental Health Division.
Junior doctors are also often attached to other teams and in the wider service, and, if of the appropriate seniority and not already an approved trainer, the post-holder will be encouraged to apply for an advanced trainee placement.
There is an active programme of quality improvement and service development. The service actively encourages feedback and involvement of service users in service redesign and works closely with the Head of Patient Experience & Involvement to continually improve service standards. The team is actively developing support for ensuring that the physical health needs of young adults in our care are being met. Both these initiatives will require input from the post-holder and will enhance their work practices in turn.
While staff will be based at hubs, there will be opportunities to work from different locations across the community, including health centres, schools and, on occasions, the family homes of service users.
