The GMMH CAMHS division currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated and committed individual to join our team as a CAMHS Service Manager.
The position will cover the Inpatient and Urgent Care pathway.
The post holder will predominantly based in Prestwich with some time in the community to support the crisis teams across Wigan and Bolton.
This is an exciting time to be working in CAMHS and helping to shape the services we provide to Children, Young People and their families in line with GM Transformation. We are looking for an individual who have experience of working with Children and Young People with mental health needs and are passionate, dedicated and committed to working in a thriving service.
Main duties of the job
The post of Service Manager is integral to the continued delivery of safe, effective and high-quality services to Children and Young People with mental health needs in Greater Manchester.
The post holder will play an integral part in the strategic assessment, development, planning and delivery of flexible, personal and responsive services for children and young people with mental health needs.
The post holder will have a wide range of responsibilities including deputizing for the Head of Operations as and contributing to the management of change in service provision, supporting service re-design and directly influencing future service provision for children and young people with mental health needs.
The post holder will be required to provide management and professional leadership to operational managers and will be accountable for service delivery in their areas of responsibility.
