We are delighted to offer this new and exciting vacancy to join the pharmacy team and assist in developing the pharmacy workforce across the trust.
We are looking for pharmacy technician who is motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about pharmacy education and training and workforce development to join our team to support training of our apprentices, pharmacy support workers, pre-registration trainee pharmacy technician and pharmacy technicians.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy technician who loves communicating and has an urge to teach and learn.
Main duties of the job
To facilitate the training in medicine management and medicines optimisation for all relevant pharmacy staff members within the Trust.
Provide training and support to facilitate the attainment of level 2 standards in Pharmacy Services and 3 standards in Pharmacy Technician (Integrated).
To assist in supporting the pharmacy apprentices.
To undertake the duties of a Pharmacy Technician- Extended Role working in the ward environment and accuracy checking in the absence of no training of staff required.

The post holder is a qualified registered Pharmacy Technician who has the experience, knowledge and skills to perform a broad and demanding range of activities.
