Do you have experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment - have you worked in production, or as an assembly operative, then you may have the skills we are looking for. If you do and are willing to embrace the opportunity to learn more, then we are keen to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
You will be providing technical skills and support to ensure the highest quality prosthetic equipment is delivered to patients, through close liaison with the Consultant and his multi-disciplinary team.
Once experienced you will undertake a mechanical repair service with patients, with access to clinical support.
You will be using tooling and machinery to understand the concepts of all common types of prosthetic hardware devices, their construction and assembly, including their function, limitations, maintenance and repair procedures, in accordance with manufacturer technical specifications.
And be fabricating all types of prosthetic sockets to the manufacturer technical specifications.
