Recruitment Open Day on Saturday 6th July 2024 for Occupational Therapists at Whipps Cross University Hospital 9.30am - 12.30pm in the Therapies Department.

We are able to offer the benefits of working in one of the largest NHS organisations in the country. We offer professional PT/OT support and development provided from the on-site PT/OT Clinical Leads, team leads as well as our Practice Development PT and Practice Development OT. In addition to in a house-training programme, we provide a Trust-wide post-core programme.

There are various rotations available across:
  • Stroke/Neurotherapy
  • Specialist Medicine and Palliative Care
  • Older People Services
  • Orthopaedics and Trauma
  • ED and Acute Assessment Unit
  • Critical Care and Surgery

Qualifications

Essential

  • HCPC registered
  • Completed degree in Occupational Therapy


Experience

Essential

  • Completed varied clinical placements


Desirable

  • Experience of working in diverse communities and/or social care and health settings
  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary and/or occupational therapy team


Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge of OT in the acute setting
  • Knowledge of a broad range of clinical conditions


Desirable

  • Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety legislation and ability to integrate into clinical practice
