Senior Physiotherapy - Intensive Care
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with a particular interest in intensive care, respiratory and surgical rehabilitation to become static within our Intensive Care Physiotherapy Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated senior physiotherapist with experience of working within surgery, respiratory or ICU.
Our Intensive Care Unit offers both level 2 and level 3 care to a variety of patients, including medically unwell patients and complex surgical patients such as oesophagogastric and pancreaticohepatic surgeries
You should have:
Excellent communication and team working skills
Completed core junior rotations
HCPC and CSP registration
We actively encourage continuing professional development through clinical supervision and a comprehensive in-service training programme
Main duties of the job
The Physiotherapy team comprises of Band 5 and 6 staff, and are supported by two band 7 team leaders. As a service, we are responsible for the rehabilitation of the patients on the unit, as well as leading on tracheostomy weaning and regular in house teaching to staff.
The physiotherapy department is committed to providing excellent patient care across seven days. You will also contribute to the emergency respiratory on-call rota.

To assess and treat patients in relevant rotational area . To support the team in the organisation and provision of an efficient, high quality and co-ordinated physiotherapy service for patients in each area . To undertake a defined clinical caseload.
