Due to the size of the department bank staff are critical in helping maintain the high-level award winning clinical service.

We are looking for qualified pharmacists to join our team and in return can offer flexible working and excellent future development opportunities.

Main duties of the job

If you are a:

Qualified Pharmacist looking to move into the Hospital Sector at an entry level position, or an experienced hospital Pharmacist looking for Bank clinical work, we would love to hear from you!

Our department operates 7 days a week so we would be happy to consider various different flexible working options working at either our Royal Stoke and/or County sites. This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospital pharmacist looking to work part time flexing around childcare or other commitments, or pharmacist currently working in the community looking to gain that critical experience in the hospital sector necessary to help them secure a permanent position in the future.

The exact nature of duties will be agreed upon based on previous experience of the appointee. Personnel with less hospital experience will be initially based in the patient services team with more limited duties and responsibilities in order to develop knowledge of hospital systems and procedures as well as developing the clinical knowledge and skills required to work in the clinical service. Experienced Hospital Pharmacists would be able to participate in the clinical service immediately.
