We have a superb opportunity for highly motivated, enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join the Adult Mental Health Inpatient Service team. The post will be working in acute mental health wards across Derbyshire so you will need to be able to travel independently.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team in a Band 5-6 development post.
This vacancy is open to either a newly or recently qualified SLT (B5) or an experienced SLT (B6) wanting to further develop their skills.
You will be supported in your development and work towards a developmental framework within an agreed time scale.
We are a small, friendly and extremely supportive team of Speech and Language Therapists.

Main duties of the job
We would love to hear from candidates both who already work within this clinical area and candidates who have not previously worked with this client group and would like to develop their skills.
Working on wards includes a lot of autonomy, including managing your own diary, with every day feeling varied and exciting!
We have the opportunity to work with small caseloads, seeing our patients frequently and feeling like we make a difference.
The Trust also offers many opportunities for development, progression and learning.
If you have excellent communication skills, a willingness to be flexible and a commitment to delivering high quality person-centred, evidence-based care, then we would very much like to hear from you!
