The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications from high calibre senior estates and facilities technical leaders to join the Group Capital, Estates and Facilities Team to shape and support service delivery in our Hospital Group, The Northern care Alliance.
Main duties of the job
Based at Salford Care Organisation, the successful post holder will report to the Group Deputy Director of Capital Estates & Facilities and play a key role as member of the Northern Care Alliance Capital, Estates and Facilities senior leadership team as well as supporting the development of standardised, efficient service strategies to support our four Care Organisations (Fairfield General Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary, Salford Royal Hospital and The Royal Oldham Hospital) and community estate. You will have responsibility for leading and developing the Estates and Facilities Technical Service and for the development of Group wide, efficient, reliable and compliant delivery of the Estates Hard FM infrastructure and identified Facilities services, providing a high quality technical and proactive responsive service to all stakeholders and peer group colleagues. As the senior technical lead you will work alongside the Estates, Facilities & Capital Team ensure that the general environment and infrastructure including all buildings and facilities services are safe and fit for purpose, for patients, relatives, visitors and staff and compliant with mandated statutory instruments as well as best practices and compliance with HTM and HBN. You will be responsible for several key functions including the oversight and management of all of our Authorising Engineers and NCA wide Safety Groups for Water, Lifts, Pressure Systems, Medical Gases etc.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of working with multiple stakeholders to support and deliver strategic and operational plans, and of successfully managing operational performance in a complex and demanding healthcare environment.
