We have a fantastic opportunity for a Highly Specialist Paediatric Dietitian to join our team of 4 Paediatric Dietitians and a Dietitian Assistant Practitioner. You will primarily work within the MDT of a large specialist allergy service, that includes nurse led rapid access clinics and immunotherapy treatment. You will manage a busy and complex outpatient allergy caseload and will have the opportunity to be involved in skin prick testing. Additional role delivering the dietetic input to the shared care Cystic Fibrosis outpatient caseload, andsupporting the general inpatient paediatric dietetic service as required. Based at Peterborough City Hospital there is a requirement to travel between Peterborough and Stamford Hospital sites for clinics. Band 6 - 7 Development post would be considered, dependent upon previous Band 6 experience.The Nutrition and Dietetic Service is a diverse team of 28 staff across hospitalsites. The Paediatric Dietetic team participates in training of the wider medical, nursing, and dietetic teams and is actively involved in ICB collaboration onguidelines and pathways, with close links with regional networks and tertiary hospitals. Main duties of the job
The highly specialist Dietitian working within the paediatric team, develops the quality of the clinical service and staff that deliver it. The post holder will work using an enhanced level of practice applying specialist knowledge and skills in the field of paediatrics and allergy, with caseload management support into other specialist areas such as cystic fibrosis and eating disorders. Working within multi-disciplinary teams, they will assess and treat a specialist complex caseload of patients and make clinical decisions for treatment plans.
They will act as the profession specific lead to support the trainingand development of staff and students within the nutrition and dieteticteam and wider multidisciplinary team. To lead on service development, service improvement, audit and assist in research initiatives to deliver on best practice evidence-based care in line with trust and national priorities. They will be responsible for the delivery of key quality performance indicators linked to providing high quality care.

Essential
- Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or Degree followed by a Masters in Dietetics
- HCPC registered Dietitian
- Strong evidence of CPD (portfolio) with paediatric accredited courses
Experience

- Completed BDA Paediatric Masters modules / Paediatric post graduate qualification or equivalent significant paediatric clinical experience.
Desirable
- Completed Supplementary Prescribing qualification - appropriate to Dietetics
