An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and self-motivated Band 6 Senior Therapeutic Radiographers to join our Radiotherapy Team. You will work as a fixed CT member of the team on the Philips Big Bore CT with full Ambient Lighting Experience. You will deliver a high-quality patient care pathway, including cannulation and contrast delivery providing expert support & advice to patients & their carers and to junior staff & trainees working in your area.
We have 4Varian Truebeam linear accelerators, two of which have Vision RT Surface Guided Radiotherapy. We are a Varian department using Aria and the Eclipse planning system.
Main duties of the job
Our other equipment includes Philips Big Bore CT with full Ambient Lighting Experience, Superficial Xray Therapy Nucletron HDR Brachytherapy and Eclipse external beam planning system. We operate all equipment on the Varian ARIA platform.
As a progressive teaching centre for Student Radiotherapists the trust has established links with Sheffield Hallam University where our educational facilities include a seminar room. The Trust actively encourages CPD and role extension with support available to pursue academic courses to further develop and enhance your skills.
