Band 6 Integrated Midwife, 36 hours available
We would love you to come and join our team at NCIC maternity services. We are proud to say that our service was rated Good at our last CQC inspection, and our goal is to ensure all our women and families receive high quality care from our exceptional teams, whilst placing high value on our staff. We have 2 small friendly Consultant led units and a stand- alone birth centre and work closely with our community midwifery teams.
We Provide specialist expertise to offer women choices in labour, which are safe and evidence based.
Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period.
Main duties of the job
To provide antenatal, Intrapartum and post natal care.
Confident to care of high risk women .
Confident with suturing, cannulation, Nipe examination, mentoring and supporting junior staff.
Up to date with child protection pathways.
Show evidence of research based care.
