We are looking for a motivated, compassionate yet forward thinking Dietitian to join our Community Dietetic team at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

You need to have current clinical inpatient and outpatient dietetic experience and access to a car at all times.

The role involves providing, as part of a team an inpatient input to 3 community hospitals and outpatient clinics held either virtually or within a community setting. The team also manages a caseload of Home Enteral Feeding patients which you will contribute to the support of. You will deliver group education to patients and healthcare professionals in Exeter, East Devon and Mid Devon localities of Devon ICB. You may often be working alone but with support and advice from senior staff across the service your ability to seek guidance when required is essential.

The Community Dietetic service is part of a wider 42 strong Dietetic team including Specialists in paediatrics, oncology, gastro, intestinal failure, cystic fibrosis and renal. The department has good integrated services with other AHPs and is supportive in CPD opportunities. You will contribute to projects, outcome measures, audit and training of both dietetic, medical students and other HCPs. We will support you in developing your skills in a number of ways, including shadowing opportunities across the team.

The main hospital site is in the vibrant, historical cathedral and university city of Exeter that has abundant family amenities and beautiful surrounding countryside. It is situated in the South West region with easy access to the countryside and coast of Devon and Cornwall. It is well served by rail, road and air links.

Working Pattern: 30 hours per week between Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30, we can be flexible with regard to how the 30 hours are distributed.
