We have a very exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Acute Stroke Unit nursing team. The Stroke Unit at UHNM is a regional thrombectomy centre recognised for the treatment that it delivers. It has a strong multi-disciplinary team providing care to Hyper-acute and acute care to people following a stroke.
We welcome applications from individuals who feel they can meet the demands and needs of this specialist area.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have good communication skills and should have experience of working in an acute hospital setting ideally within a stroke unit or other neurological setting. We are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the patient experience.The Acute Stroke Unit cares for a variety of patients with complex conditions and needs post stroke and require specialist skills and knowledge to aid and maximise their recovery.If you feel you have these attributes, please apply!
