Do you have a passion for rehabilitation and a desire to improve the patient's rehabilitation journey?
We are looking for Registered nurses on Willow Ward, Liskeard Community Hospital, who want to deliver high standards of compassionate care.
Liskeard Community Hospital has 2 wards specialising in rehabilitation but also taking patients requiring palliative care.
Willow Ward is looking for enthusiastic, compassionate registered nurses to join their team, where you will become part of a multi-disciplinary team working together to achieve the best outcomes for patients. Willow ward is a nurse led unit (with 9-5 doctor cover) which will offer you the opportunity to enhance your clinical skills, discharge planning and decision making.
Full/ Part time and Night working contracts will be considered at Interview, and we would welcome this to be discussed with us. Night contracts there will be an expectation to rotate onto day shift periodically.

Main duties of the job
The assessment of care needs and the development and implementation of programmes of care in the ward setting
To be a team leader and provide all forms of nursing care without direct supervision.
To provide mentorship to pre and post registration students and Healthcare Assistants undertaking the National Vocational Awards.
