We are changing the way we meet the needs of our patients. We understand that patients needing therapy don't just arrive at hospital on weekdays between nine and five. We are putting the needs of these patients first and operating a dynamic new extended hours, seven day service at our Front Door.
We are looking for a Highly Specialised Occupational Therapist in our Front Door team to be part of the seven day Therapy service. We provide a week day 8am to 8pm service and a weekend service.
We are looking for an experienced clinician with advanced specialist acute medical knowledge and experience of working in this area. Essential additional qualities include flexibility, forward thinking and a proactive approach to challenges.
The post holder will work closely with other band 7 AHP team leads within the Front Door therapies team and be closely involved in service redesign and development.
Together with team leaders in other in-patient specialties, you will support the OT Clinical Lead and the Therapies Manager in the strategic and operational planning for the department
