The Infection Prevention Team is looking for an experienced nurse with a keen interest in infection prevention to help them with implementing the Infection Prevention Programme across the health board..You will be part of a team providing a proactive and responsive service offering expert infection prevention advice and information across the health board. An induction and work placed training with supervision and support shall be provided.
Main duties of the job
Assist in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the Infection Prevention Improvement Plan in collaboration with the Senior Infection Prevention Nurse (IPN) /ANP-Infection Prevention (IP)
In collaboration with the Health Board wide Infection Prevention Team develop training resources.
Assist the Health Board wide Infection Prevention Team, to develop patient / staff and relative information resources as required.
Assist the Senior IPN/ ANP-Infection Prevention in implementing the Infection Prevention training programme.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
