Brent Integrated Care Partnership has a number of exciting opportunities available, supporting the borough based partnership to deliver its objectives in a changing and evolving health and care landscape. We have 11 roles available, hosted by CNWL but working as part of a wider partnership of health and care organisations in Brent.
About the Roles

Main duties of the job
The post holder has overall responsibility for:
Working with colleagues to shape and develop Training Hubs across the NW London sector which aims to develop and retain the workforce of the future. The Training Hub will seek to ensure the training needs of our future delivery models are met through joint working with partner organization such as community and acute trust providers.
Working with colleagues to shape and co-design the local strategy for the development of the primary care workforce, identifying and realising opportunities to achieve key outcomes in line with national policy.
The post holder will produce a Brent workforce plan and a programme of training and development locally that speaks to local priorities. This will include, producing and implementing the Brent Investment and Activity Plan (IAP) - essentially our local Workforce Development Plan - for submission to North West London Training Hub working closely with GP practices, GP networks and education leads.
Managing performance, activity and the budget associated with the role (liaising with finance colleagues as appropriate), ensuring key performance indicators are achieved and relevant reports are produced in a timely and accurate manner.
Overseeing all programme elements including placements, supervision, competency frameworks, developing career pathways, broadening skills mix, integrating roles and leadership development.

The roles will be based at Brent Civic Centre in Wembley, and will involve 3 days working in the office per week, with home working available for the other days.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Focus
Support delivery on national directives including GP Forward View and Workforce Recruitment and Retention Strategies
Support delivery on North West London ICB and Brent Borough Partnership priorities, including local Primary Care Strategies, Training Hub development and supporting the Integrated Care Partnership development
Support the Primary Care team in delivering of Primary Care targets .
Empower Primary Care Networks in developing workforce plans to meet future health needs of the local population
Operational Focus:
Participate in NW London and Health Education England workforce and development events. Taking learning from these events to implement local strategies.
Lead on development of Education and Training Hub in Brent, drawing membership from wide community including Primary Care Networks, community, social and voluntary sector provided provider.
Monitor education and training budget expenditure and ensure services commissioned meet procurement requirement and agreed deliverables.
Contribute to the monitoring and financial delivery of the agreed portfolio ensuring it is delivered on time
Provide training, advice and support on own area of responsibility.
Support training and induction of new and existing staff.
Work collaboratively with Primary Care staff members.

- Educated to a degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level.
- Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development
Desirable
- Project management qualification, or equivalent experience in programme/project delivery roles

- Experience in leading transformation projects within health and/or social care settings.
- Must have an understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy in London and appreciate the implications of this on engagement
