COMMUNITY OUTPATIENT PHYSIOTHERAPY & MSK SERVICE H& R
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive team as we say a sad farewell to our current Clinical Lead who is reluctant to leave the post due to family relocation.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Physiotherapist to lead our Musculoskeletal Team based at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.
The Physiotherapy Service is a well-established, large, progressive and dynamic service, which continues to develop within the Trust. The team is friendly and supportive and mentorship for this role will be provided by the Musculoskeletal Service Lead and the Head of Physiotherapy.
Our staff are encouraged and supported in their CPD through in-service training, case studies, and clinical supervision, as well as external courses and study. Active Participation in audit and research, and facilitation of these processes across the team, are essential to the role.
Main duties of the job
Your role will be Clinical Lead for the Integrated Musculoskeletal Service which is comprised of the PhysioDirect telephone service, Community Outpatient Physiotherapy and the MSK Service. You will manage a team of Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants and Clerical Staff who work in the MSK Service and Outpatient Physiotherapy. You will work closely with the Service Lead for the wider Musculoskeletal Team.
The role will be split between clinical and leadership responsibilities so the post holder will be expected to have substantial experience clinically in musculoskeletal, and experience of management or leadership. You will be expected to have completed, be working towards, or willing to complete relevant post graduate study in clinical and/or leadership, and there will be opportunity to further develop your clinical skills by working alongside Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, and leadership skills through the Trust's Leadership Programmes.

The Friarage Hospital is in the lovely market town of Northallerton and is part of South Tees Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in the country. It is close to the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales, and within easy reach of Newcastle and Leeds.
