The post holder will
- To supervise Technicians, Craftsmen and Maintenance Support Staff, to ensure an effective and efficient workforce is provided delivering maintenance activities, this will be achieved via the trusts CAFM system (MICAD
- To assist and support the Estates Mechanical Manager in ensuring the Property Maintenance Department operates within all Health and Safety guidelines, and that all Statutory and Mandatory obligations for the Trust
- To undertake the duties of Competent Persons/Authorised person or SME one or more specialists systems i.e. Mechanical systems/Pressure systems/lifts, ventilation system or water systems
- To act up as Mechanical Manager when required.

- o.C& G, NVQ or similar in a mechanical discipline

- oCPD in line management oHNC/HND in an engineering discipline oCompetent or Authorised/Responsible Person in a specialist discipline oTime served apprenticeship
