This is an opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic professional to join our management accounts team in a challenging role supporting the Royal Brompton Heart Division.

Main duties of the job

You'll work closely with the Senior Finance Manager, Site Director, General Manager and Clinical Director, providing a high-quality monthly reporting and business support service.

About us

As part of a close-knit group of finance managers, you'll report to the Senior Finance Manager for the Royal Brompton Heart Division and manage one direct report.

Youll also play a key role in the Trusts productivity and transformation programme.

The post is based at the Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea but you may be occasionally required to work at other Trust sites.

Person Specification

Education & Qualifcations

Essential

  • CCAB Finalist or CCAB part qualified with extensive experience.


Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Extensive knowledge of financial & other duties placed on NHS organisations.


Desirable

  • Experience of the budget setting process.


Skills & Abilities

Essential

  • Highly developed analytical skills to solve highly complex financial and non-financial problems.


Personal Qualities

Essential

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
