Operational Manager for Surgery & Critical Care
Operational Manager opportunity . You will gain invaluable experience as part of a busy and dynamic NHS management team. You will develop a diverse range of leadership and management skills within the demanding environment of one of Britain's leading specialist Children's Hospitals.
Responsible to the Service Manager for Surgery and Critical Care (Surgery), you'll liaise at all levels with clerical and clinical staff, including consultants.

Main duties of the job
Providing effective management support to the Care Group including a variety of specialist surgical teams, theatres and critical care.
You will have a key operational role in service planning, performance management and information analysis, supporting clinical governance as you steer our services toward improvement and development.

Our team are a lively and fast paced team who work across all areas of the patient pathway. Each Operational Manager is responsible for the day to day management of a number of surgical specialties and works closely with these teams.
Sheffield Children's is one of three independent, specialist paediatric hospitals in the country, providing dedicated healthcare for children and young people across community, mental health and acute specialist settings.
We have three overarching aims that set the direction for the Trust in our vision to create a healthier future for children and young people.
