This post is a fixed term/secondment until 31 March 2025 to meet the needs of the service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Fracture Liaison Service for Clinical Nurse Specialist Team Leader. The post holder will manage a small team of nurses a to provide a robust fracture liaison service . The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the team, specialist advice across disciplines, specialities, and sites, and act as a role model for the delivery of expert care.
The postholder will be working in a close-knit team of consultants, nurses, and administration staff. They will report to the Senior Nurse.
Main duties of the job
Our fracture liaison service is well-established and delivers person centred comprehensive management of bone health to patients who have had a fracture
We are looking for a colleague who enjoys team working and who has the ability to function as an autonomous practitioner.
You will be expected to liaise with colleagues in secondary and primary care, providing specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers and relatives.
You should have post registration experience in medicine, orthopaedics or equivalent background and be able to evidence Continuous Professional Development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
