We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic staff nurse to join our team. We are a busy 26 bedded rehabilitation unit which is nurse and therapy led. Ensuring an intergrated approach for the benefit of out patients

Main duties of the job
Franziska Willer ward s a 26 bedded elderly rehabiltation ward. We accept patients from the acute wards, direct from accident and emergency and from other organisations.
The main duties of the role are:
-Plan and deliver high quality of care to patients adhering to the trust policies and procedures.
-Maintain a high standard of documentation
-Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Plan and deliver safe admissions and discharges
- Be responsible for the delegation of tasks to other members of the team
-Work well as a team player but also show initative

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
