In addition, the post holder will be required to work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in the provision of high standard, individualised patient care, thus driving continual improvements in the patient experience. The position supports a clinical role in addition to the management of operational and pastoral aspects.

  • Act as a pivotal liaison role for the unit by providing effective communication, direction and support to staff and all stakeholders in a timely manner, which reflects and responds to population and patient needs.
  • Be integral in the organisational and strategic development of the clinical area.
  • Work closely with the Matron and Divisional Director of Nursing in implementing the Trust Clinical Governance and Nursing Strategy
  • To work in partnership with all members of the multi-professional team to address patients health needs through planning and delivering interventions which are based in practice and clinical judgement.
