An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced staff nurse with at least 6 months experience, to join our amazing team in a brand new 13 bed Intensive care unit, at Barnsley Hospital.
We are looking for individuals who are committed to providing high quality care within a multidisciplinary framework of holistic care delivery.

This position will enable the successful applicant to develop their knowledge and skills in caring for critically ill adults within a highly supportive environment.
You will have a comprehensive induction programme depending on your previous experience supported by the units clinical educator and you will work with an experienced team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other allied professionals.
This post will include shift work, consisting of days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, we support flexible working patterns and part time hours can be offered.
Main duties of the job
Working within a highly skilled, dynamic multi-disciplinary team, in our busy and energetic 13 bedded Adult Critical Care Unit, which accommodates both level 3 and level 2 patients. This is an excellent opportunity for, energetic, enthusiastic staff nurses with at least 6 months acute experience, to provide a high standard of care to patients within a challenging, yet supportive acute hospital setting.
