We work between two sites within the hospital, the main building and the Endeavour Unit. This post holder will work between pre-treatment and treatment floor.

We have an active brachytherapy service, treating a variety of sites using our Nucletron remote after-loading brachytherapy unit.

Treatment plans are produced using Monaco and Raystation. Mosaiq is currently used for electronic data transfer throughout the radiotherapy department.

We are a forward thinking department and support radiographers in their clinical development to advanced practitioner level and we have recently appointed our first Consultant Radiographer.

Our radiographers are fully involved in the MDT approach to developments within the department. The department has a major commitment to evidence based practice, and participates in multi-centre clinical research trials, led by our Radiotherapy Research Team.
