We have a fantastic opportunity for a rotational occupational therapist to join us. At the Royal Papworth Hospital, we put patients at the centre of our practice, utilising our dual-training in physical and mental health to maximise occupational performance. We offer a growing range of occupational therapy interventions, which will enable you to unleash your creativity.
We are looking for an occupational therapist who wants to be part of an innovative department, to help drive forward our ambitious vision of shaping the future of Cardiothoracic Occupational Therapy.
You will develop your Occupational Therapy expertise and leadership skills within the following areas clinical areas:
*Cardio-thoracic surgery
*Heart and lung transplant
*Critical care
*Cardiology
*Respiratory medicine
Main duties of the job
We will provide you with regular supervision, appraisal and offer attendance on a preceptorship programme if required. You will have opportunities to develop professionally through a full competency package and in-house training, as well as participation in service improvement initiatives.
This post requires contribution to Bank Holiday and Weekend working. This post is advertised as full-time, however we will consider part-time applicants to job share.
