An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, registered, experienced anaesthetic practitioner within the Cardiac Theatre department as a Band 6 anaesthetic Team Leader in Morriston Hospital, who shares the Values and Behaviours of the Health Board.
The applicant will be required to have Cardiac experience as an anaesthetic practitioner.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to supervise a team to assess, develop, implement and evaluate perioperative patient care on a daily basis and works closely with all disciplines to ensure the effective running of a theatre within our department within set guidelines in the absence of the Speciality Manager on duty. The post holder will be required to provide specialist anaesthetic assistance within theatre, managing their own workload and supervises the work of others within a team.
The post holder will be involved in deployment, supervision and teaching of staff within the clinical area and support the Speciality Manager on duty in providing clinical and managerial leadership to Nursing/Operating Department Practitioners and support staff.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
