E-Consent Data Analyst - Band 7Job summaryWe are looking for a Data Analyst with a commitment to and passion for improving services and outcomes for patients and their families. The postholder will work within the Improvement and Transformation team, and across the Group Hospital sites with senior operational leads and clinical teams across the Trust. This will also include teams within ICT, Business Intelligence, Clinical Systems and Legal Services.The E-Consent Data Analyst will offer specialist advice and guidance on NHS information matters including the development and analysis of health-related data sets. They will undertake detailed analysis, interpretation and reporting of complex data at both central and local levels. Furthermore, the post holder will have a pivotal role in providing expert analytical advice and support for monitoring progress of the roll out plan and impact.The post holder will work closely with the Business Intelligence Unit to lead the development of dashboards as well as producing and presenting reports for the E-Consent workstream and senior hospital executives. As a member of the Improvement and Transformation team, the post holder will have a key role in embedding continuous quality improvement throughout their work.Travel to different hospital sites within the Barts Health Group and to other partner providers will be necessary.
The role is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2025.Proposed interview date: W/C 10th June 2024
Main duties of the job
o Managing the E-Consent dashboards to track progress made on E-Consent rollout and uptake of the platform, working closely with BIU and E-Consent system suppliers.o Deliver expert analytical advice and guidance to the E-Consent programme when required.o Generate reports for E-Consent Delivery Group and Programme Board, Senior Hospital and Group Executive Memberso To carry out complex analysis of Trust data using a variety of statistical, analytical and presentational methods.o To liaise with various service leads to improve data quality and the effective presentation of data.o Work proactively with managers and other Trust staff to ensure that the reporting requirements of clinical, administrative and managerial staff are met.o Work closely with Hospital Site business partners to provide and assist in any information process design for clinical and administrative purposes.
