Are you a Family Therapist seeking a rewarding career within CAMHS?
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our CAMHS Community Eating Disorders Service (CEDS). Eating disorders is an inspiring and rewarding area to work in and we are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Family Therapist who is keen to be part of the development of our CAMHS Service in Somerset .
You'll be joining an established CAMHS Community Eating Disorders Service that's undergoing exciting developments and you'll contribute to delivering and developing the systemic role within this area.
If you have a passion for delivering person-centred mental health care and you're seeking to develop your skills and knowledge within this amazing group of young people -then we would love to hear from you.
Best of all? No weekend working required!
Main duties of the job
As a Registered Family Therapist, you'll offer and support young people and families with a systemic approach within a CAMHS eating disorders service. This may be severe in nature and the service is held within Tier 3, allowing us to work closely with our CAMHS Core Community teams.
You'll manage a caseload, alongside other team members and independently with a focus on working with individuals who experience an eating disorder but that also may present with a range of other complex needs and difficulties. Additionally you'll offer vital support to the families and carers of young individuals under our care.
Must have a full driving licence and have permanent access to own transport with appropriate business insurance as this job delivers care and treatment to the county of Somerset. You are able to claim expenses.
About us
As an organisation, the NHS offers a wide range of benefits including flexible working, pension contributions, market leading annual leave allowance, continuing professional development and regular informal conversations around career progression, annual recognition awards to celebrate and recognise our colleagues achievements throughout the year and not to mention our Blue Light Card and NHS exclusive discounts.
We work hard to make sure that inclusion is part of everything we do. We know that true inclusion means we're able to provide the best care for our patients and provide a fulfilling career for all our colleagues.
The benefits of working in Somerset include the idyllic countryside, with our areas of outstanding beauty and stunning coastlines. You will get to enjoy these perks whilst still only being a stone's throw away from bustling city centres like Bristol, Bath and Exeter and only two hours away from London - there is truly something for everyone!
There are excellent educational facilities in the area and, when compared to other regions, house prices are reasonable.
We have six active and impactful colleague networks. These networks provide a safe space for colleagues to share their experiences and learn from one another, but also influence change across our trust:
