Do you want to work in a service where we diagnose lung cancer early and save people's lives?
We currently have 1 x full time permanent role.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the expanded Greater Manchester Targeted Lung Health Check programme. This award-winning programme delivers lung cancer screening to people aged between 55 and 74 years old, who have ever smoked in their lifetimes, from mobile clinics in the community.
This post will be mainly based in mobile clinics in the community in the North-West sector of Greater Manchester (covering Wigan, Bolton and Salford localities). Training and induction will be completed at Wythenshawe hospital and at mobile sites (supermarkets and football stadiums) in North Manchester and Tameside & Glossop localities. Travel payments will be made for any travel completed above home to base mileage. Also MFT has lease car options available to successful postholders through the NHS Fleet Solutions car leasing salary sacrifice scheme.
You will receive an enhanced induction and training package and be part of an established team with support for you to thrive in your role and contribute to improved patient care, health, and quality of life.

Degree or equivalent qualification or equivalent level of knowledge.
Management qualification or working towards or able to demonstrate significant experience of working in a management role.
Evidence of continuing professional development
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to provide training for others on the local systems and databases
Ability to produce work of a high standard to tight deadlines
Attention to detail in order to use questioning and analytical ability
Highly developed written communication skills, including report, briefing paper and SOP writing
Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing (e-mails) with a wide range of people, including senior medical staff, other health care professionals, managers, patients and people from other organisations
Ability to complete data collection, collation and analysis as required within this post.
IT literate and able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, TEAMs, PowerPoint, e-mail and the internet
Effective management / leadership and organisational skills
Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise own workload
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
