An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Kettering General Accident and Emergency department. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated, compassionate individual to join our expanding team. An experienced nurse leader who is enthusiastic and dynamic. Working in conjunction with the wider hospital team to deliver a high standard of care to all our patients.
Main duties of the job
Managing and leading a busy department and team.
Motivating and role modelling high standards, implementing and driving improvements and initiatives.
Continuously striving to achieve and outstanding Emergency Department.
Responsible for the daily management and organisation of the unit in leading and ensuring a quality nursing service is provided for patients attending the Emergency Care Centre.
Ensure the efficient use of resources by implementing, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care provision using evidence based practice.
Provide clinical and managerial expertise and act as a resource for all disciplines of staff and service users.
To act as a role model in providing leadership and support to staff in conjunction with the Matron team.
As a busy dynamic team, we are responsible for promoting and protecting the reputation of the trust. We do this through delivering high standards of care to all our patients and community. We continuously strive towards achieving an outstanding department through our ongoing improvements and initiatives. Developing and nourishing a positive culture is at the heart of all we do in our ED.
