Petersfield Urgent Treatment Centre
We are looking for experienced Practitioners to come and join our team here in Petersfield.
We are a practitioner led service, supported by remote GP's committed to delivering high quality care to the local population of Petersfield and the surrounding areas. The UTC operates 08:00 -- 20:00 hours, 365 days a year, offering treatment for both minor injury and minor illness to adults and children. Patients can pre-book appointments through NHS 111 as well as walk-in attendance.
The successful applicant must be an experienced autonomous practitioner either nurse or paramedic and must have assessment, diagnostic and management skills in minor injury and minor illness care with relevant experience in an unscheduled or primary care setting. The successful candidate will be required to undertake the role of practitioner in charge of the shift, managing patient flow through the department and supporting staff on duty, including clinical supervision of junior staff. They must demonstrate a good understanding and implementation of Governance, both clinical and information. Must be fully compliant and competent with safeguarding policies and procedures. A non-medical prescriber qualification would be advantageous though not essential, however, the willingness to undertake the course in the future as part of professional development would be desired.

To provide professional, high quality care to patients and their families throughout their time in the unit.
To contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical practice within the Urgent Care Setting.
To provide expert clinical and professional leadership in the role of practitioner in charge of the shift.
