Surrey and Borders Forensic Outreach and Liaison Service is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic community mental health nurse to join the team.
The successful applicant will be part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering comprehensive assessments and a range of approaches, interventions and treatments to people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems with the aim of supporting them with their personal recovery. The successful candidate will provide specialist assessment and treatment for people with mental disorder, who haveoffended or are at risk of offending. Our service is provided both within criminal justice settings and the local community.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to hold lead and professional responsibility for a number of service users. This reflects a need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
