To provide and monitor key activity information within Haematology Liverpool, to enable the Unit to deliver both outpatient and inpatient waiting time targets and optimizing the use of resources. Also to support delivery and monitoring of complex commissioned services.

Main duties of the job

To audit and monitor activity and demand reporting to the Directorate team.o Mapping and analysing patient processes. To identify issues of data/system problems with regards to causes of delays and work with colleagues to improve and correct.o Work to agreed deadlines and present to the Directorate Team detailedreports on projects undertaken.o Network and liaise with other agencies to share learning and information.o Monitor service redesign.o To develop and maintain databases to assist with the collection of the activity and specialist areas of worko To assist in the development of the Data Quality agenda for the Directorate by identifying areas for change and improvement.o To undertake other duties as appropriate.

  • Interrogated Business Intelligence reports

Person Specification



  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Fully conversant with Windows computer software, including Word, Access, Excel and Power Point
