This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join the Children & Young Peoples service at UCLH to deliver transformational patient care for young people requiring endocrine support & treatment. You will be joining a vibrant multidisciplinary team providing supportive care to ensure CYP & their families receive high quality care clinical care from admission through to discharge.

Person Specification

Knowledge and Qualifications


  • RN (child) / RGN minimum 5 years post registration
  • 1st level registration with NMC Degree level education
  • Teaching / assessment programme
  • Completed or working towards MSc or equivalent



  • Minimum 3 years relevant post registration experience in endocrinology
  • Knowledge of the research process


  • Experience in the management of endocrine diagnostic testing

Skills and Abilities


  • Organisational and managerial skills
  • Proven communication skills
  • Teaching and assessment skills
  • Ability to work with databases


  • Clinical audit skills



  • Communicates effectively verbally, in writing and in electronic formats Presentation skills
