Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) are seeking to recruit Bank Level 5 Childrens Community Nurses for flexible working opportunities within Birmingham through our Trust Bank.

Main duties of the job
The Childrens Community Nurse role is within the corporate team with the Birmingham School Health Support Service and undertakes delegated duties as directed by the SCPHN/Team Leader.
A large proportion of the role is to complete Health Care plans for children with medical conditions in school and to deliver core medical needs training to school staff.
You will work in partnership with clients and other professionals to deliver evidence based care evaluating the care given and sharing the outcome with the delegating School Nurse Specialist Practitioner, as well as carrying out home visits and working within wider community settings.

We deliver over 100 clinical services, out in people's homes and in over 200 healthcare settings for adults, children, people with learning disabilities, those with rehabilitation needs and also dental services.
