An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre as a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist for a 12 month secondment to cover maternity.
The post holder will provide specialist advice and support to patients and their carers throughout their care pathway, as well as providing education and support to staff throughout the trust. The post holder will work with the consultant team as well as delivering nurse led services for patients with HPB cancers . The specialist nursing team is a progressive, dynamic team, keen to build our research capability, be leaders in cancer care and at the forefront of delivering outstanding care to our patients.
We are seeking highly motivated nurses with HPB and/or cancer care knowledge and experience at Band 6 or above, confident decision-making skills, excellent communicator, innovative and with a passion to always improve.

Actively participates in multi-professionalmeetings, acting as patient advocate andrepresenting nursing views.

- Degree in healthcare related subject
- Evidence of Masters level learning.
- Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care or relevant specialist subject
