This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Band 7- Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to lead a team and offer their expertise and skills in shaping and developing activities in the medical assessment ward (McGill) in Winchester

Main duties of the job
What we are looking for:
- Leadership, the successful candidate must be a leader who will promote excellence within the ward. We are looking for someone with previous band 6 or higher experience who can bring innovative ideas to the ward and develop and mentor a team.
- Innovation, Evidence of quality improvement and advancing practice who is committed to promoting evidence-based care.
- Enthusiasm, advanced communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Aspiration, the successful candidate must be committed to improving their own clinical practice, knowledge and skills.

- Degree level education or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through any combination of alternative study, or employment experience
- Teaching and Assessing Qualification or equivalent study or work experience
