Do you have the drive , resilience and qualities required to work in a fast paced, challenging and busy directorate? Are you self-motivated and have good leadership qualities? If so, then this is the post for you.

You will work closely with the Service Manager, Clinical Director and Clinical Lead and will be supporting the management of a busy outpatient department , as well as community based services and supporting the management team to ensure that patients are seen within the national targets for 18 weeks RTT and cancer.

The successful applicant will be a team player you will be a confident and clear communicator, with an excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team and to be the first point of contact for your clinicians.

Knowledge of national targets (RTT and diagnostics) and hospital PAS and EPR systems are essential.

  • Support the day to day operational management of the service
  • Line management of outpatient booking staff cross-site
  • Active contribution to the delivery of patient centred services
  • Support clinic management across CMH and Willesden
  • Responsible for cross site management including CMH and community based services.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Previous operational management experience within the acute sector or similar
  • Experience of staff management
  • Knowledge & experience of service improvement


Desirable

  • Knowledge and effective management of RTT


Skills

Essential

  • Full range of IT skills including Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of staff levels and professions
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and influencing skills
