Community Mental Health Nurse

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our specialist service for people aged 14-35 experiencing a first episode of psychosis. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with service user, loved ones and will work within the multi disciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.

Main duties of the job

To ensure effective care coordination and delivery of a nice concordant care package within an assertive outreach model.

Person Specification

Education and training


  • Core Professional qualification in Nursing


  • Psychosocial interventions for psychosis
  • Training in Behavioural Family Therapy



  • Evidence of relevant post registration clinical experience


  • Ability to conduct first line assessments for individuals newly referred into the service, utilizing a biopsychosocial framework.



  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience of managing risk


  • Experience of working in Psychosis service or CAMHS



  • Experience of working with families/loved ones
