We are looking to complement our already excellent team of Band 7 Sisters/Charge Nurses to take an excellent team of Emergency Nurses into our new purpose built Emergency Department.
We provide all staff with educational development through our departmental education team and promote an active coaching environment for all staff.
Main duties of the job
Are you an experienced Emergency Department Nurse looking to develop yourself. We are looking to recruit a Band 7 to become a navigator in the Emergency Department. The role involves streaming patients safely to existing assessment areas. To include Same Day Emergency Care, Emergency Surgical Assessment and Acute Medical Assessment Unit.
We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Nurse with ED experience, who has knowledge and experience in triage. You need to be committed to providing excellent patient care within a busy department working within local and national targets, have excellent communication skills and good time management skills along with the ability to work in a well established and dynamic team, if so then this may be the job for you.

You will be expected to work on a rotational shift pattern to provide 7 day cover in the department and also as part of your role support the Matrons in meting the national 4 hour targets.
The work-load throughout the department is very varied and interesting with no two days being the same. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a high sense of professionalism and a strong belief in the value of teamwork.
