Band 6 Specialist Ambulatory Clinic /clinical Practitioner in Central Treatment Suite at UHNS.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative Band 6 Specialist Ambulatory clinic /Clinical Practitioner in Central Treatment Suite at UHNM.

The post holder will be highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and be keen to develop their knowledge and skills to meet this demanding role.

The successful applicant will be expected to have previous experience of assessing, planning and evaluating relevant interventions in the patients' pathway with experience of working in a relevant clinical environment.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be expected to be a key team player in the specialist ambulatory treatment suite and be instrumental in providing quality driven care of patients from relevant disciplines including some lower urinary tract symptoms. The ability to relationship build and network with the multi-disciplinary team is essential.

Qualifications

Essential

  • oRegistered Nurse on the Nursing & Midwifery Council's Professional Register part 1 or 12 Diploma Level education or equivalent. Demonstrable evidence of Teaching and assessing in the last twelve month period. (2)


Desirable

  • o2 years relevant clinical experience at Band 5 in ambulatory, investigations, diagnostics and treatments


Qualifications/skills/experien

Essential

  • oDegree in Nursing/Health related studies/relevant experience

  • oHealth Assessment Module. Advanced communication skills
